Wise Earth Memorial for the tragedy of September 11th, 2001
Ma offers oblations
to Mother Earth
Blessed Soul,
Namaste. I
am safely back at the School in deep contemplation and prayers.
Do not worry on my behalf. This a time of profound sadness. My
prayers are with you and with our country. As you are aware we
are experiencing a national emergency and I am appealing to you,
the spiritual aspirant, to enter your inner space of contemplation
and prayer so that we can help shift the devastation of today’s
horrific events. The Bhagavad Gita tells us that in time of devastation,
we must remember to do what has to be done. Your prayer is the
most powerful act to be done at this time. It will make a difference.
Below is a Santipatha chant that I recommend you do for peace
and healing.
Regarding
upcoming Wise Earth and Mother Om Mission programs, we have decided
that it would be inappropriate to conduct classes during this
time of national mourning. Programs will resume on September 25th,
2001. We have been hearing of the devastation from our shock-stricken
students in New York. Many of their families who worked at WTC
are yet to be heard from. We ask that you join me in prayers and
contemplation for the healing of the aggrieved families and departed
souls. This is a time to evoke peace and harmony and kindness
and love and light.
To that end,
I invite you to do as follows:
~ Join me
in Wise Earth School in spirit and practice for an hour of
prayers and Vedic chants on
- Friday,
September 14th at 6:00pm (US est).
- Tuesday,
September 18th at 6:00pm (US est).
- Friday,
September 21st at 6:00pm (US est).
- Tuesday,
September 25th at 6:00pm (US est).
~ Stay centered
and know that your prayers and compassion are of the greatest
purpose at this time.
~ Keep your
thoughts centered on unity, peace among the beings, and the resolution
of all disharmonious acts on earth.
~ Keep your
prayers strong for the well-being of the aggreived families and
the welfare of the departed souls traveling through the ether
at this very moment.
~ Kindly extent
my invitation and blessings through the Wise Earth network and
Mother Om Mission and to all caring citizens in your area.
